Refurbished Google Pixel 9a: Smart Features for Everyday Life
The refurbished Google Pixel 9a brings Google's Tensor G4 chip, a bright 6.3-inch display and a capable dual-camera system together in a practical, everyday design. Its Actua pOLED screen moves between 60Hz and 120Hz for smooth scrolling, and Google quotes up to 2,700 nits peak brightness and 1,800 nits HDR brightness to help keep content readable in bright light.
Under the hood, the Pixel 9a runs on Google Tensor G4, from the same chip family as the Pixel 9 series, with 8GB of RAM and the Titan M2 security coprocessor. Gemini is built in, with Gemini Nano running on-device, and Circle to Search lets you look up what's on your screen by simply circling it.
The dual rear camera pairs a 48 MP main camera with optical image stabilisation and a 13 MP ultrawide, and Google claims Super Res Zoom up to 8x. Night Sight, Astrophotography, Macro Focus, Add Me, Best Take and Magic Eraser help you capture and refine your shots, while the 13 MP ultrawide selfie camera records 4K video at 30fps.
The Pixel 9a has a satin aluminium frame, a composite matte back and a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 front, and Google rated it IP68 for dust and water resistance (IEC 60529). As with any phone, water and dust resistance can lessen with wear and after repair, so we recommend keeping your refurbished Pixel 9a away from water. Google also states that the aluminium in the Pixel 9a's housing is entirely recycled content and that the phone is made with at least 23% recycled materials by weight.
Google quotes 30+ hours of battery life from the 5,100 mAh (typical) battery, and up to 100 hours with Extreme Battery Saver turned on. Actual battery life on a refurbished phone varies with use and battery health. When it's time to top up, the Pixel 9a supports up to 23W wired charging (Google's figure, with Google's 45W USB-C Charger) and up to 7.5W wireless charging with compatible Qi EPP chargers.
Google promises seven years of OS, security and Pixel Drop updates from the Pixel 9a's 2025 launch. It launched with Android 15 and can be upgraded to Android 16. Connectivity includes 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3 and NFC, along with dual SIM support for one nano-SIM and one eSIM.
Every refurbished Pixel 9a from CELLiFY is checked and tested before dispatch, unlocked to work on all major Australian networks and backed by our 12-month warranty. It may contain aftermarket replacement parts, such as a screen or battery, which may differ from Google's published specifications.
