Samsung Galaxy S25 FE: Exynos 2400 Performance, a 50MP Triple Camera and Galaxy AI in a 7.4mm Design

Samsung announced the Galaxy S25 FE in September 2025 and released it in Australia on 26 September 2025, bringing a large display, a versatile triple camera and Galaxy AI to its Fan Edition line. The refurbished Samsung Galaxy S25 FE is 7.4mm thin and weighs 190g. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protects both the front and back, with an Armor Aluminium frame. Samsung rated it IP68 for dust and water resistance (up to 1.5m of freshwater for up to 30 minutes); refurbished units, particularly those with replaced parts, may not retain the same level of water resistance, so avoid exposing your phone to water. The Australian model supports a Nano-SIM plus eSIM.

Up front is a 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 1080 x 2340 resolution (~385 ppi) and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, so scrolling, gaming and video look smooth. Vision Booster helps keep content clear and colourful in bright light, and the fingerprint sensor sits under the display for quick unlocking.

At the heart of the refurbished Samsung Galaxy S25 FE is Samsung’s Exynos 2400, a 4nm deca-core processor paired with 8GB of RAM across every storage option: 128GB, 256GB and 512GB. There is no microSD card slot, so it is worth choosing the capacity that suits your photos, videos and apps. Samsung highlights hardware-based ray tracing for more realistic gaming graphics, and says the vapour chamber is more than 10% larger than the Galaxy S24 FE’s to help manage heat.

For photography, the triple rear camera combines a 50MP f/1.8 main camera with optical image stabilisation, a 12MP ultra-wide with a 123° field of view, and an 8MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom and OIS. Samsung quotes up to 30x digital zoom, and features such as Best Face, HDR and panorama help you get the shot. Video recording goes up to 8K at 30fps, with 4K at up to 120fps. On the front, a 12MP camera, which Samsung says is up from 10MP on the Galaxy S24 FE, handles selfies and video calls.

The Galaxy S25 FE launched with Android 16 and One UI 8, bringing Galaxy AI tools such as Generative Edit, Audio Eraser, Auto Trim and Instant Slow-mo, along with Gemini Live and Circle to Search with Google. Samsung promises seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates from the phone’s global launch, with Samsung Australia listing security updates until 30 September 2032. Samsung Knox and Knox Vault help protect your data, and Samsung DeX support, including Wireless DeX, lets you use a compatible display for a desktop-style workspace.

The 4,900mAh (typical) battery is rated by Samsung for up to 28 hours of video playback. Samsung says wired charging reaches up to 65% in about 30 minutes with a 45W adapter (sold separately), and the phone also supports wireless charging, up to 15W with Qi2 when used with a compatible case, and Wireless PowerShare, so you can top up compatible earbuds and watches from the back of the phone. These are Samsung’s published figures; battery life on a refurbished unit depends on its battery health and how you use it.

Connectivity includes 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC and USB-C 3.2 Gen 1, with stereo speakers for music and video (there is no 3.5mm headphone jack). In Australia, Samsung released the Galaxy S25 FE in Navy, Jetblack and Icyblue.
