Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra: Privacy Display, 200MP Camera and Built-In S Pen
The refurbished Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is the Ultra model in Samsung’s Galaxy S26 series. It was announced at Galaxy Unpacked on 25 February 2026 and went on sale in Australian stores on 11 March 2026. Samsung says it is 0.3mm thinner and 4g lighter than the Galaxy S25 Ultra, at 7.9mm thick and 214g. Corning Gorilla Armor 2 covers the front, Corning Gorilla Glass covers the back, and the frame is Samsung’s Armor Aluminium. Samsung rates it IP68 for dust and water resistance, up to 1.5m of fresh water for 30 minutes.
The 6.9-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display has an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz, and Samsung quotes up to 2,600 nits peak brightness. Samsung calls it Galaxy’s first built-in Privacy Display. It limits what people beside you can see from side angles without a separate privacy screen protector. You switch it on in settings for the whole screen, for specific apps, for notification pop-ups or for PIN and password entry. The screen also has an anti-reflective coating.
Inside the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy, built on a 3nm process. Samsung quotes up to 19% faster CPU, 39% faster NPU and 24% faster GPU performance than the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Samsung Australia also says the redesigned vapour chamber gives 21% greater thermal performance. The 256GB and 512GB models have 12GB of RAM, and the 1TB model has 16GB. The phone launched with Android 16 and One UI 8.5.
The quad rear camera system combines a 200MP wide camera with a brighter f/1.4 aperture, a 50MP ultra-wide, a 50MP periscope telephoto with 5x optical zoom and a 10MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom. Samsung quotes up to 100x Space Zoom. It also says the 200MP wide camera takes in 47% more light and the 50MP 5x telephoto 37% more light than the equivalent cameras on the Galaxy S25 Ultra. You can record 8K video at 30fps and 4K at up to 120fps, and the 12MP selfie camera records 4K at up to 60fps.
The S Pen is built in, so you can write notes, sketch and make precise edits without carrying a separate stylus. Connectivity includes 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, Ultra-Wideband (UWB) and USB Type-C 3.2 with DisplayPort output. Samsung DeX and Wireless DeX give you a desktop-style layout on a compatible external display, and an ultrasonic under-display fingerprint sensor handles unlocking.
The 5,000mAh (typical) battery is rated by Samsung for up to 31 hours of video playback. Wired charging goes up to 60W, from 45W on the Galaxy S25 Ultra, and Samsung quotes up to 75% charge in around 30 minutes with a compatible 60W adapter. The phone also supports 25W Qi2 wireless charging and 4.5W reverse wireless charging.
Samsung released the Galaxy S26 Ultra in Black, White, Cobalt Violet, Sky Blue, Silver Shadow and Pink Gold, with 256GB, 512GB and 1TB storage. Every refurbished Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra from CELLiFY is checked and tested before dispatch. It comes unlocked for all major Australian networks and is covered by our 12-month warranty.
