Samsung Galaxy S26: Exynos 2600 Performance, a 50MP Triple Camera and a Bigger Battery in a Slim Design
The refurbished Samsung Galaxy S26 brings Samsung’s 2026 flagship features into a compact, lightweight body. Samsung announced the Galaxy S26 at Galaxy Unpacked on 25 February 2026, and it was released in Australia on 11 March 2026. At just 7.2mm thin and 167g, it pairs an Armour Aluminium frame with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on both the front and back. Every refurbished Galaxy S26 from CELLiFY is unlocked and works on all major Australian networks.
The 6.3-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display has a resolution of 1080 x 2340 (around 411 ppi) and an adaptive refresh rate that moves between 1Hz and 120Hz, so scrolling and gaming feel smooth. It supports HDR10+, and Samsung quotes up to 2600 nits peak brightness. Vision Booster adjusts the image to help keep the screen easy to read in bright sunlight.
Australian models of the Galaxy S26 are powered by Samsung’s Exynos 2600, a 2nm chip with a deca-core CPU (up to 3.8GHz) and an Xclipse 960 GPU, paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of storage. A redesigned vapour chamber helps manage heat. The phone launched with Android 16 and One UI 8.5, and Samsung’s Australian specifications list security update support until 28 February 2033.
On the back is a versatile triple camera: a 50MP f/1.8 main camera with optical image stabilisation, a 10MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom and a 12MP ultra-wide with a 120° field of view. Samsung quotes 2x optical-quality zoom from the main sensor and up to 30x digital zoom, along with Nightography for low-light shots and Best Face for group photos. Video recording reaches 8K at 30fps and 4K at up to 60fps, and Samsung says Super Steady with Horizontal Lock keeps footage level. The 12MP selfie camera uses an AI ISP, which Samsung says delivers more natural skin tones and finer detail.
Samsung fitted the Galaxy S26 with a 4,300 mAh (typical) battery, up from 4,000 mAh on the Galaxy S25, and quotes up to 30 hours of video playback, one hour more than its predecessor. Samsung says fast wired charging reaches up to 55% in about 30 minutes with a compatible fast charger, and the phone also supports wireless charging and Wireless PowerShare for topping up compatible accessories. These are Samsung’s published figures; battery life on a refurbished unit depends on its battery health and how you use it.
Galaxy AI features include Now Brief, Now Nudge, Photo Assist, Creative Studio and Circle to Search with Google. Connectivity covers 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC for contactless payments and USB-C (USB 3.2 Gen 1), with Samsung DeX support and Nano-SIM plus eSIM. Samsung rated the Galaxy S26 IP68 for dust and water resistance (up to 1.5m in freshwater for 30 minutes). Refurbished units, particularly those with replaced parts, may not retain the same level of water resistance, so avoid exposing your phone to water.
Samsung released the Galaxy S26 in Australia in Cobalt Violet, Sky Blue, Black and White, with Pink Gold and Silver Shadow sold as Samsung online exclusives, in 256GB and 512GB storage options. Every refurbished Samsung Galaxy S26 from CELLiFY is checked and tested before dispatch, may contain aftermarket replacement parts, and is backed by a 12-month CELLiFY warranty.
